Scanner with Scan2Net® Technology from Image Access are compatible to all processors and operating systems, e.g. PC, Macintosh systems or Linux/Unix etc. It is not necessary to open the computer. Expensive imaging boards and drivers (Code Free Hosts) belong to the past.
Scan2Net® technology bases on an optimized instruction and command set, controlled by an integrated HTML user interface. The Scan2Net® technology is integrated into Image Access' WideTEK A2 Scanner, a scanner for formats up to DIN A2.
The installation time for a Scan2Net® based system is reduced to a minimum. At least a personal computer with a 100 MBit Fast-Ethernet connection - 1 GBit is ideal - and a standard Web browser is required. Two cables have to be plugged in and the installation is managed in the twinkling of an eye. Every Scan2Net® scanner then can be controlled with a standard web browser via the TCP/IP protocol. It makes no difference whether the scanner is in the internet, in the intranet or as a stand-alone device.
The WideTEK A3 High Speed Color Scanner is controlled via the integrated user interface. The device setup, installation of software options, diagnostics and firmware updates are done without any special software. Incompatibility problems with operating systems belong to the past.
The WideTEK A3 High Speed Color Scanner offers several different file formats. Save the scanned document in JPEG-format, in TIFF-format or in PNM raw data format Print, copy or send the scan directly by eMail with just a mouse click. Data transfer via an FTP server is also available from the scanners' menu bar.
The large format scanners available today are almost exclusively pull-through scanners that pass paper over a fixed optical unit. The WideTEK A3 is a flatbed scanner, so the optical unit moves under the paper being scanned. This puts less stress on the paper and also allows users to scan bound documents and drafts on paper boards.
WideTEK A2's speed, ease of use and wide range of deployment possibilities will impress you. Scan quickly, simply and even in color.
The approved color scanner WideTEK A2 now is also available as 10 bit grayscale scanner.
