BCS-2
Batch Scanning
and Image Processing
Software
Normally, we think in terms of scanning a page, and then saving it to disk.
But BCS-2 is something entirely different. It is a total scanning solution.
Sure, it can cope with single scans, but it really comes into its own when
you need to scan a whole series of documents, or a whole book or chapter.
Because right from the first press of the scanner button on the first page,
it treats the series of pages as a set. Whether you are doing image post
processing, publishing them or saving them as image files, organising them,
creating PDF documents, publishing them as web pages, sending them using
FTP, printing them, or even sending them by e-mail, BCS-2 does all of that
and works with the set of documents. All in one package.
And what's more, it works with just about any scanner.

distribution lists can be accessed with the "To" and "CC" buttons.
-

The BCS-2 Web Publisher allows fast and user-friendly delivery of scanned

server in HTML format with a hyperlink. The hyperlink is sent to the user
directly in an e-mail. The user can then decide when they want to call up
the document or copy it to their own system.

Order Management
You can scan a single page document, or, and this is really where it comes
into its own, start off a batch scanning job, which can be a series of documents,
a whole book, or a chapter. (A batch of scans is called an "order").
A batch can contain different types and sizes of documents, and you can easily
flip between bitonal and grey scale for a page that has a photograph for
example.
The features within BCS-2 can then be applied to the whole scan batch. Simple.
All with the click of a mouse button. De-skew all of the batch please. Click.
Done. Create a PDF file from a batch - simple! But don't blink. The PDF file
is created before you know it.
